This is just a little side note. I havn't seen any creature use a special attack on me that has required me to use the Discepline skill. Am I just lucky enough to not run into a creature that uses this or did you guys just not give any creatures knockdown, disarm, etc.? Just a thought, cause these kind of things can help fighter build classes shine in parties. SSN ( Side side note): Perhaps we could include a sundering option for special monsters (Bosses and other important figures) or do you guys feel that this is overpowering or unfair to the PC's. SSSN: I do not use "you guys" as a derogatory term because I am racist ( Which I am not ). I am French Jewish so I know what it is like to be made fun of but I use "you guys" as a term to represent "the overal general public of this forum and those who have the ability to answer my questions".

I don't feel that a sundering option is overpowering. It might make it a little tricky for fighter-types, but once they figure out that the boss wants to chop up their weapon, they'll figure out a new tactic.

There are creatures that do these special attacks. For example, Orc Chieftans try disarming me all the time, and dire wolves knock me down regularly.
However, they will only attempt to do so if they have more than a 50% chance to hit (ie. their AB is higher than 10 less than your AC). So if you have a relatively high AC you will not get many of these attacks.
This is actually how it works in the standard Bioware scripts as well, except that they still use an approximation for the creatures AB (I changed it to get the actual value when a function was released in a patch that does that). So that might account for some difference in how often you see these compared to the standard game?
