Well, heres some of my story. I grew up in a small town in NC for the most part, near Greensboro, spent a ton of time out doors, lots of fishing and camping, got old enough for a drivers license and discovered the fun of trying to tear up jeeps and the like in the mountains. Worked a lot for family during the summers, mainly professional tree removal, from large expensive houses around Atlanta GA. I traveled a lot as a young teen, saw most states in the US and more of Mexico than I care to ever again. I joined the Navy right out of high school, actually was still in HS when i enlisted. I went through nearly 3 years of school then. I was stationed on the USS Maine (SSBN-741), a trident class ballistic missile submarine, for 3 years where I maintained the water chemistry of the reactor, and monitored and document raditaion levels, and most anything else to do with the reactor besides actually running it. I am currently stationed on the USS Enterprise, the tallest, longest, oldest, and fastest nuclear carrier in the fleet, where I am in charge of a workcenter that basically operates the catapults that launch the planes off the flight deck. Right now I am within the Arctic Circle, its odd only having 4 hours of darkness a night, and should be back to the states in a few weeks. I currently live in Norfolk Virginia, I lived just outside Jacksonville FL for 3 years, and Charleston SC for the 3 years before that. Sometime around the end of the year I will be moving to Sigonella, Sicily, I hope, if all goes well.
Got my first computer in 6th grade, a secind hand 386 pentium, from my aunt. ran off MS-Dos, still have the computer, and its still running great, which I cant say for my new alienware laptop, which i bought after my Dell wandered out of my locker, well it's back in Norfolk with my wife now, but if she sent it to me I would likely be back in Norfolk before it made it out to me here. If only I had thought to reseat the heatsinks my self, I would still have it, but se la vi. Thats about all thats going on with me for now.
