Name: Matt
Born in Boston, MA December 13, 1973
Lived most of my life in MA until I joined the US ARMY.
Been playing D&D since I stumbled on the original Basic D&D boxed set in 1979 (yes I was 5). I loved the pictures on the cover (dragons and treasure). I studied it almost like it was the Bible. By 7 I was actually playing it with some of my friends. I loved to draw dungeon maps on graph paper and make my friends travel through my insidious designs. I first saw the AD&D 1st edition players guide and DMG in a hobby store, but at the time I couldn't afford it, so I petitioned the local library to carry it and, believe it or not, they actually listened. I checked the books out continuously for over a year and finally decided to photocopy all of the pages. so my first AD&D collection consisted of a bunch of papers stapled together...lol Been playing ever since. Have brought my books with me all over the world and started a AD&D club in Germany.
I am an avid reader and have read almost every Fantasy and Horror book in existence.
I joined the Army when I was 20 (I turned 21 in Basic Training, and couldn't drink...). I have lived all over the world including: Japan, S.Korea, Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia. I was an Electronics Technician for the PATRIOT Missile system (Radar and Computer controlled systems Technician), which led me to my current career in retail...lol
I am currently going to college (or will be going back once my Florida residency kicks in) for Computer Information Systems. I have a 3.85 average (wish I had that much ambition in high school...where I was a straight 'D' student).
