We're looking for suggestions as to what should be included in the "Ultimate PW." Post here with any and all ideas, respond to this thread or create a new one. All suggestions will be seriously considered by the Staff.

Hey guys.. been surfing the vault and found a great addition! Just can't quite get it to work with the fantastic PRC hak. It adds more clerical domains such as: Darkness Fate Mentalism Renewal Retribution Scalykind Slime Spell Storm Time
Tested it out on a module and seems to be needing a bit of tweaking. You can find it at the vault under 3.5 EDITION RULES v2.0 by TigerMouth
I think this would be a great addition to the PRC hak!

im still not in the dev team but if i may sugest some , its better to use only CEP hack so we can have all the players, and not to need them to download no hack.
my 2 cents on this.

I somewhat agree...the fewer haks, the more player will come. Most people already have CEP since you can download it while patching, ect. But we should limit the other haks...

hello, a few suggestions i have seen work well and really enjoy: wizards only able to port around world, perhaps returing shards for everyone, but only wizzies able to get you places,
ensure rogues are neccessary in nearly all high level areas, ie locked doors,
also, dont give every monster true seeing, this is common to prevent players from sneaking areas to get to boss and crashing module due to number of spawns, requires a bit of maturity on players part, or dm involvement, but true seeing on every mob totally removes h/ms skills.
Penalties for resurrection by scroll verses true healer.
Not sure how mod to be setup, but a quest giver is nice, gives you slip of paper with 3 mob names to go find and kill to complete quest, get qp to buy special goodies from dm, or some other variant to provide quests without a dm online
trials for guild membership also, setup to specifically challenge each class, with skill checks and general knowledge of class required to complete and then extensive rewards for completion, ie matched set of armor/jewelry or excellent class only store access
scripts for progression past lvl 40, a rune that monitors total exp and gives bonuses based on class, fighters get magic damage/str/dex mages get dmg resist/int or whatever deemed appropriate
ensure crafting material is available, a mining area for metal procurement, yew/balsa/elm forests, etc
a circus or animal collector that will purchase dominated creatures
i can go on and on about some ideas for pw's but i think i have rambled enough for the time being

I say no haks, but I'm a very picky and skeptical person. Most of the haks I have seen are poor quality and degrade the play experience.

We will ensure that all PC classes are equally useful/needed.
We have an expanded NPC/Creature AI that will take care of stuff like this. The odds of someone sneaking all the way to a "boss" is very low. See our website for more details under "For Players."
We plan on having many, many quests - both static and dynamic, script run and DM run.
We encourage the formation of player run guilds. Players are free to set their own standards, initiation rights, rewards, etc.
People will have to do some serious gaming before they reach 40th level. For now we aren't really discussing what should be done with the epic levels. More to come as that time approaches I guess.
We are in the middle of creating this right now - quite expansive.
I hear that Sythillis, in the city of Murann, is looking to aquire "pets" for his arena...

I have seen some great stuff here so far. In my oppinion PRC should not be included as many player just dont have the power in their computer to run PRC it dose take a lot of memory to run.

Thank you for the compliment. We are not using PRC, instead Ima has been creating his own version which includes sub-races, class alterations, new feats, spell alterations and some items among other things. Please check out the "Fpr Players" section of our website (not forums) for a much more detailed description.

My suggestion is this. When I was a DM in Vives we had speacial session called Vives 101 where Dm's and Builders would get together and show new players all the features and content in game that the PW had to offer. This included use of player Widgets, How to Craft and other features new players may not know about right away. This also served as a great time to let players once again know the house rules and how to act in Character. The player feedback from this was very good and they were thankful to have gone through something like this as well. Just as thought I have many more

You were a DM in Vives? I was a player there for a little while. I loved that world. I was considering going back, but then I found Shattered Souls and decided to contribute what little time on NWN I had to this project instead of just being a player. ;D

Will there be horses? Ridable ones? Possible and something we'd like to add. I hear there's a relatively new package on the Vault (forget who made it but don't think it was DLA). If someone's willing to go find it, check it out and give us their review it would be much appreciated...
